| A forty (40) hour
course developed for members of emergency response teams. Participants
will learn through table top and practical exercises to identify,
approach and control incidents involving hazardous materials. |
| > Hazmat
Technician 2 (advanced training) |
 |
 |
| This forty (40)
hour course is designed for members of emergency response teams
who have previously taken Hazmat Technician1 training. More
than thirty hours are dedicated to hands on and field exercises
including situation assessment, leak control and product transshipment
techniques. The course meets OSHA 1910-120 training requirements. Training is adapted to client’s needs and is offered at the client’s premises. |
| > Highway
Emergency Response |

| A forty (40) hour
emergency response course focussing on cargo tanks, intermodal
containers, dry box vans and small containers. Participants
will review safety regulations, personal protective equipment
and hazard detection and identification. Participants will
practice safe approach, situation assessment and various product
transhipment techniques. This course meets OSHA 1910-120 training
requirements and NFPA standards. |

| A sixteen (16) hour
course that provides the student with the Canadian Chemical
Producers Association TEAP Technical Advisor Certification.
This course is designed for off site specialists as defined
in NFPA 472 |
| > Confined
Space Work |
 |
 |
| An eight (8) hour
course designed for employees who work in confined spaces.
The course is divided equally between theory and practical
training. |
| > Confined
Space Rescue |
 |
 |
| An eight (8) hour
course for members of industrial rescue teams covered under
regulations. The course is comprised of 25% theory and 75%
practical application. |
| > Respiratory
Protection |
 |
 |
| An eight (8) hour
course for members of emergency response teams and workers
who must wear respiratory protection. Exercises account for
more than 50% of the course. |
| > Fire
Fighting |
 |
 |
| Four (4) or eight
(8) hour course covering fire hose handling, the proper use
of fire extinguishers and the particular approach and fire
fighting techniques in an industrial environment. |
| > Dangerous
Goods |
 |
 |
| A four (4) hour
course for handlers, shippers and carriers covering the basic
TDG regulatory requirements. |
| > WHMIS
Training |
 |
 |
| A four (4) hour
introduction course to Workplace Hazardous Materials Information
System (WHIMIS). |
| > HAZWOPER
Training |
 |
 |
| A 40 hour course
for contaminated site workers. This course meets OSHA 1910-120
requirements. |
